Who doesn’t want to be like James Bond of a Bond girl?! They can do no wrong; every move the make is sleek and chic. Men and women alike all oogle over they’re incredible looks and sophisticated style. Well, even if we can’t be as cool as these icons, we can sure try. Looks to Start of the Holiday Season For Less!

Once the seasonal commercials start appearing on the TV and the stores become decked with Holiday merchandise, everything starts to well… begin to look a lot like Christmas. And while some might argue that it might be a little too early to start spreading Christmas cheer, you can never be too prepared to look your best for the holiday season. After all, you don’t want to be caught the week before a holiday party trying to figure out what to wear.

For more of a daytime holiday look or possibly for your Black Friday shopping adventures, try these trendy printed leggings from PacSun. I love Fair Isle prints for winter and I think leggings are a really cool way to wear the trend. Pair with an oversized sweater dress on top for an uber comfy outfit; this one from Forever 21 is perfect to keep you warm so you don’t have to pile on layers. Pull on your favorite pair of riding boots, I personally like black pair from JCPenny. For a touch of color top off the look with an infinity scarf, I love this raspberry one from Old Navy, perfect for winter!

Leggings from PacSun – $19.50; Sweater Dress from Forever 21 – $27.80; Boots from JCPenny – $50.00; Scarf from Old Navy – $14.94

Tis the season to style, and here’s a look that doesn’t scream holidays yet, but if you’re getting a little too excited too early, this should hold you over. The H&M, burgundy top with tiny gold embellishments at the neckline is such a great piece that you could wear multiple times throughout the season many different ways. Pair this top witha chic and easy to wear skirt from Target and it adds the perfect amount of holiday sparkle. These silver flats from Bloomingdales are a steal and can carry you through any time of the year, try adding a pair of black tights for this look. And finally add some arm candy with a simple, gemmed bangle from MANGO.

Skirt from Target – $24.99; Top from H&M – $14.95; Silver Flats from Bloomingdales – $69.00; Bracelet from Mango – $29.99

The importance of seasonal fashion cannot be over emphasized. It’s never too soon to tis the season. So I’ll leave you with some the words of Train “Tis the season to smile, it’s cold, but we’ll be freezing in style.”

What To Wear: Oxblood Oxblood Everywhere!

If there’s one trend that is absolutely everywhere this season, one trend that every single fashion expert, blogger, editor and lover can agree is THE hit for fall, one trend that nobody can seem to get enough of, it’s oxblood.  Walk into any store, and I mean any store at all, and you will see at least one thing in oxblood.  I’d bet at least 5 things to be more accurate.  This burgundy hue is all the rage, and for good reason.  It’s colorful enough to make your wardrobe pop, dark enough to fit perfectly into the warmer, earthier tones that are synonymous with fall, edgy enough to be considered fashion forward, and subtle enough to incorporate it into outfits necessary for a corporate atmosphere.

The best part about oxblood?  It goes with pretty much anything.  This is one of those hues that matches blacks, browns, and blues.  It goes with a simple white tee or a stunning silver party dress.  You can be daring with oxblood velvet skinnies, or play it a little more safe by adding a burgundy bag to an otherwise subdued ensemble.  Wearing a simple LBD and tights?  Slip into to some sky-high oxblood platforms to take your look from standard to unexpected.  Or swap out your go-to practical flats for a pair in oxblood, and instantly upgrade your casual Sunday afternoon outfit.  If you’re still not convinced, try throwing a deep red scarf around your neck, or warming your hands and feet with oxblood mittens and socks.

As I already stated, oxblood seriously goes with everything, including every type of person, no matter your sense of style.  So whether you’re in the market for a new clutch, pair of boots, or sweater, do yourself a favor and get it in oxblood.  You won’t be sorry.

Does your entire closet consist of this hue, or are you just now considering adding this color into your wardrobe?  Tell me what you think of the shade, and how you like to wear it best in the comments section below!

Keeping Up With Kourtney Kardashian: Look for Less

From one stylish Kourtney, to another, I love everything Kourtney Kardashian. The Kardashian women have really made an impact on the fashion world since Keeping up with the Kardashian’s premiered (come on .. it’s my guilty pleasure).  From their O.P.I. nail polish line, to their exclusive boutiques, D-A-S-H to the Kardashian Kollection now available at Sears. Let’s not forgot their constant appearances in extremely stylish, to-die-for outfits, they are sort of on fire.

Kourtney Kardashian is my favorite of the three by far. While it might be because we share names, I actually do believe her, and her son Mason, are the most stylish of the clan. Check out this awesome look that Kourtney wore to an E! event. Simple, classic but with a little bit of color thrown in, through an adorable bauble necklace. I couldn’t resist recreating this look for less to wear even when you’re not expecting.

I found this sheer, long sleeved, collared dress from ModCloth, it is perfect for the colder days coming fast! Plus it can easily be worn to many occasions including that fall wedding you have. To wear the Kardashian look, try this dress with a yellow necklace from Bauble Bar. Don’t be afraid to wear another colored necklace; preferably one that suits your personality.  The yellow does add a little brightness to an often muted fall wardrobe. Add a pair of booties to keep your toes warm with this perfect shoe from DSW. Lastly, a structured black clutch brings this kute look together. So sorry.. couldn’t avoid it!

Dress from ModCloth: $59.99; Necklace from Bauble Bar: $32; Shoes from DSW: $44.95; Clutch from Target: $17.99

Best Fall Coats for Less!

With the cold quickly coming into Cincinnati these days, I’m falling for all of the adorable peacoats and winter coats that have been filling the racks. I’ve chosen my five favorites for you for this fall. A great coat pulls together any outfit quickly and is such an essential piece to any woman’s wardrobe.

My first and personal favorite is fro ModCloth for $69.99. This red coat is in a stunning red, which vibrantly reflects the colors of fall. With the unique high collar a scarf is unnecessary. The tie at the waist makes it flattering for many, different body types.

I love this weekender coat from Target for only $39.99! It comes in a variety of colors but I love black for a versatile coat for any weekend event. This coat is an easy piece to just throw on wherever you’re going and the hood is an added bonus, keeping the cold out!

Next, check out this double-breasted fleece coat from Forever 21. It comes in mustard and tan, both trendy colors that would make a great statement. This cozy coat could easily be dressed up or down for a variety of occasions. For $42.50, this coat is a reasonable buy which you will get a lot of wear out of.

This adorable peacoat form H&M is too cute to resist. I love the buttons and the piping and ruffle detail throughout the coat. The little details are what makes this coat so special. If you’re looking for a coat that stands out a little more, this is it! And plus it’s less than $50!

Lastly, a patterned coat is a really cool take on your basic peacoat. This houndstooth patterened coat from Forever 21 for $37.80 is a great patterned piece. This black and white coat in a smaller pattern won’t be too overwhelming so don’t be intimidated to take the risk.

While jewel toned clothes are gorgeous, we can’t forget to incorporate these beautiful colors into our jewelry too! I’ve picked out some must have fun jewelry pieces for fall that will make a statement and complete your look. I’m someone who could wear the same basic and boring silver jewelry everyday and never mix it up, but the fun designs and colors that are coming out for fall have really inspired me to step outside the box and try some new, fun jewelry.
