Get Schooled in Back to School Style – For Less!
Ahhh, school’s back. I have mixed feelings about this. I am really happy to be back with all my friends and start a new year of awesome adventures at UC, but at the same time, I’m not really ready for the mass amounts of homework. Then again, who knows if I’ll ever be? I do always get really amped about my back to school style. It’s such a great opportunity for a new style start and I love the collegiate and fall inspirations. If you’re still in college, or have been out for a while, the collegiate style is timeless. Well, at least until you the point where you should stop shopping at H&M.
Try this elbow patch sweater from ASOS with a pair of colored cords from The Gap. These two pieces can be worn many different ways and are nice additions to have in your closet. Throw on a pair of these awesome loafers, which come in many different colors, from Lulu’s. I love the loafer trend right now; they’re a classic, preppy flat that you can transition from day to night easily.

Sweater – ASOS - $37.94; Colored Cords - The Gap – $59.95; Blue Loafers – Lulu’s – $28.00
For a back to school style look that can easily be worn in the office, try a basic chiffon oxford blouse in white from Old Navy with this polka dot skirt from The Loft. For a fun piece of jewelry try this gold and purple chain necklace from Bauble Bar for only $26!
Printed skirt – The Loft – $59.50; Blouse – Old Navy – $29.94; Chain necklace – Bauble Bar - $26.00
Lastly, don’t be afraid to get out your college sweatshirts (well, you might want to consider it, if you’ve worn it to death). Try wearing your collegiate sweatshirt with some cute boots and simple jeans for a quick trip to the store or for a fall day out. Don’t be afraid to show your pride, especially on a game day!
Boots – Target – $34.99; UC Sweatshirt – $39.95; Jeans – Old Navy - $35.00
So get schooled in style this coming fall and go collegiate. It’s the smart thing to do!
