My love affair with social entrepreneurship is one I can’t stop talking about and about and about. Yes, I’m “that girl” that prefers to push social entrepreneurship onto people even if they could care less about it. Sorry peeps! Not only are social entrepreneurs innovating but they’re innovating to better human life or the world around them. So when I got the opportunity to interview Tammy Tibbetts, founder of She’s the First (a not-for-profit that sponsors girls’ education in the developing world) I was a wee bit excited (spoken in true Irish form).

If your 20′s are for doing, Tammy is doing it. She was one of Glamour’s Women of the Year and has been at the forefront of multiple different projects including but not limited to Girls Who Rock. Though she went to college in New Jersey, she’s one of those 20 somethings securing sponsorships from MTV not partying on the Jersey Shore. Clearly what she lacks in an orange tan she gains in the smarts department.
