Kate Middleton “Recycles” Dress & Wears J Brand Jeans 3 Days In a Row… In Other Words, She Acts Normal

Kate Middleton has been out and about throughout The Royal’s North American Tour (also known as the US & Canada, maybe they’ll forget we missed Mexico) showing her normalcy by doing the unthinkable in the celebrity world, double dipping in her clothes. She was caught (and by caught I mean intentionally did so) wearing her Reiss engagement dress twice along with sporting J Brand 811 jeans 3 days in a row. Making her seem like a completely relatable 20 something until you remember she’s The Duchess of Cambridge & lives in a giant castle.

The media seems to blow up when celebrities or public figures “recycle” or re-wear clothes blubbering things like “it’s a recession and she’s showing sympathy” or “it’s environmentally friendly” hint using the word “recycle”. However, I’d like to take it a bit further by betting or secretly hoping that Kate didn’t even wash her jeans! Because what about that isn’t realistic. Seriously? I think we can all agree wearing your jeans multiple times without washing them is way more comfortable than wearing them once, washing them, & wearing them again. What person hasn’t worn their clothes twice especially if you’re paying for something as expensive as J Brand jeans.

While, yes we are in a recession, it has absolutely nothing to do with wearing the same dress or jeans multiple times. Wearing your jeans more than than once is believe it or not…recession proof! As for being environmentally friendly, next time I go a week without washing my jeans due to mere laziness I’ll remember to pull out that line.
